On his journey from Cape Town to Walvis Bay Michel visits places, which he knows from his childhood. Exactly 20 years ago he had left South Africa. Michel searches for old schoolmates and asks for their hopes, desires and disapointments. With a photo he visits his old school, where they are happy to help him searching.
It comes then to three interesting meetings, he also meets an old friend of his father, whom he did not see for 15 years. Many faded memories show up again.
How are Michel’s feelings to this “new” country? How are his impressions of the people living there? And could he imagine living in Cape Town or Walvis Bay?
