In a fascinating, animated play of light on the facade of the Palazzo Salis in Soglio during the Chestnut Festival 2014, the beautiful 150 year old herbaria, that normally lie dormant in boxes in the basement of the Culture archive Upper Engadine, are brought back to life.

This was a low-budget experiment with two $ 650.- wide angle projectors with 3000 ANSI lumens each, stacked one above the other to get us 6000 ANSI lumens, next to that we used a MacBook Pro and the mapping of the facade was realized with [Isadora]. With dark images, this installation had it’s struggles, but worked surprisingly well with bright subjects.
